When you’re choosing a cot for your baby, safety matters. At Babyhood, all of our cots are independently tested in Australia by Furntech AFRDI, an accredited furniture testing laboratory with decades of experience in product safety testing.
Our cots are tested to meet the Australian and New Zealand cot safety standards AS/NZS 2172.
Furntech AFRDI is an independent testing laboratory accredited by NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities), Australia.
NATA accreditation means the laboratory is independently assessed for technical competence and testing procedures to international standards. Furntech operates under ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory accreditation requirements.
In simple terms, it means our products are tested by an independent specialist laboratory, not simply assessed internally by a manufacturer.
